RoamIO-HCW is capable of autonomously navigating fields to automate various tasks, which frees up time for the operator to simultaneously perform other tasks that can’t be easily automated. This autonomous farming mini tractor robot comes with a ground clearance of 32” and adjustable width which could be used with a variety of crops. All RoamIOs reduce labour needed to perform repetitive, tedious tasks like cultivating, seeding, weeding, transporting, mowing, soil sampling and data-logging; this reduces the time workers spend in hostile environments. The safety of the workers isn’t compromised due to the advanced obstacle detection capabilities enabled by – cameras with artificial intelligence. The RoamIO-HCW can be remotely operated using the tablet provided, and the user can choose between using a local Wi-Fi connection, or a remote, cloud operated one.
