This enables farmers to monitor their cowsheds and ensure sufficient sanitization, which significantly lowers incidence of mastitis.
It is fourth IR gadget that aids in the implementation of long-term, sustainable solutions to improve their financial stability by use of technology for marginal livestock entrepreneurs of Bangladesh.
Device Description
praniSheba Prohori works as an all-in-one IoT sensor device for monitoring environmental changes in your cowshed. With a collection of powerful embedded sensors, the device simultaneously measures:

- Ammonia
- Humidity
- Temperature
- Smoke
This device monitors these environmental properties 24x7 and sends data to the IoT server. Each praniSheba Prohori device can be managed from both praniSheba IoT mobile app or web dashboard. Users can set alarms based on pre-defined multiple thresholds for different hazardous levels. For extreme cases like fire hazards, the sensor immediately triggers the alarm and notifies the user. Users receive real-time alert notification messages via SMS and push notifications on Mobile App.

The user gets an immediate alert message on mobile if any undesirable situation happens in the cowshed. At every trigger point, an SMS is sent to the user of the device notifying the triggered level of sensor data.
Alarm trigger is configurable to multiple thresholds. Each alarm trigger has individual tolerance level which gives user more flexibility to reduce occurance of false alarm. The device has the capability to detect sudden anomalies and trigger alarms to notify the user in extreme cases like fire, smoke etc. - Connectivity & Battery Backup
The device sends data to the remote IoT server via GSM (GPRS technology using IoT Sim) or via WiFi. This feature opens many opportunities to deploy the device in remote areas where Wi-Fi is hardly available. This device has a battery backup of up-to 4 hours in case of load-shedding. Auto power switching technology does the seamless transfer between AC power and Battery power sources. - Data Security
This device can store backup of offline data up to one month as a fail-safe option to avoid any loss during data transmission and unavailability of the internet. Communication between the prohori device and the server is encrypted by standard wireless protocol.
