Robotic Apple Harvester

Our mission to automate the toughest tasks in farming now extends to tree fruit, with our robotic apple harvester. By reusing the majority of our custom technology that we use in strawberry harvest, we have gained a lot of momentum after just one season.

• Bin pass through
  We fit within current orchard operations and can pass full and empty bins through our machine with no disruption to harvest.
• Soft Grippers
  With a gentle twist and pull, we remove the apple from the tree without damage.
• Arms
  With a wide range of motion and a fast movement, we harvest rows from 9-12 feet wide.
• Autodrive
  We safely navigate down an orchard row, avoiding contact with trees, branches and other objects.
• Hybrid electric drive system
  A fuel-efficient, lightweight machine can work for many hours without interruption or the need to refuel.
• Real time stereo camera
  We quickly scan trees for apples that meet your color and size specs.
• Conveyors
  After picking fruit, we gently transfer apples to standard bins.
